Technical Support Analyst

We seek an ambitious, technologically oriented person to work on our Professional Services team to support and deploy best of breed technology solutions. Genesis Imaging offers a great opportunity to work with some top national and international companies and help create technological solutions that have a real impact on the companies’ business practices. We are seeking individuals who enjoy working with people and are creative with technology.
Our clients are extended across industries including Government, Manufacturing, Higher Education, Finance and Healthcare. Their solutions are mostly emphasized on document management, business process automation and records management.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to our customers and partners
- Log and track issues using internal support management software
- Communicate in a courteous and professional manner that inspires confidence in your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Answering questions from customers and prospective customers about the features and capabilities of their products
- Developing ongoing troubleshooting reference material
- Communicating customer needs to our Professional Services and Sales teams
- Continual training and growth as a professional
Requirements
- Strong technical skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Patience and high reasoning ability
- Knowledge of IT functions ranging from installing applications, operating systems, networking, databases, Web Server management and hardware solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Genesis Imaging offers growth opportunities in the areas of Project Management, Development, and Integration Services. Genesis Imaging is nationally recognized for excellence in our field and continues to grow. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor degree or equivalent experience, MCP, basic understandings of databases. Experience in designing or supporting business processes through work with accounting applications, ERP, Workflow, or Document Imaging technology is a plus.

Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 & 2008, Windows 7, E-Mail clients, FTP clients, Web Browsers, .NET, Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft Office Products, Active Directory and IIS.
